In 2014 to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the First Royal Visit to Canada by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the Royal Canadian Mint released a very special Limited Issue First Royal Visit $20 Twenty Dollar Silver Antique Coin struck in solid fine .9999 Silver and weighing one ounce of pure Silver.
The reverse designed by Bonnie Ross features the King and Queen standing on the waving platform located on the back of the final car of the royal train with the dates 1939-2014 while the obverse features a portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
